Chinese streetwear brand Sankuanz has gained a cult-like following for their unconventional, disruptive designs and eccentric approach to fashion. Shangguan Zhe, a semi-finalist for the prestigious LVMH Prize for young fashion designers by Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE, founded his fashion line Sankuanz with only 3.000 yuan (roughly 400 Euros). What’s so special about him? Shangguan Zhe combines contemporary art and vintage sportswear with an emphasis on uniforms and the ‘90s. The debut of Puma x Sankuanz carries on this tradition, aiming to break down barries in fashion, streetwear, and culture. With unique camouflage prints highlighted by pops of acid colors, this bold, androgynous collection reveals the limitlessness of fashion through a combination of vintage and technical materials, razor-sharp tailoring, and deconstructed silhouettes.
